Call for Papers

Please note that due to the limitations because of the current corona situation we have extended the deadline for abstract submission to May 10, 2020.

In our Call for Papers, we especially invite contributions on:

  • Quantitative and qualitative reviews in the field of divorce research
  • Micro-level dynamics of separation processes
  • Divorce from a comparative, historical, or life-course perspective
  • Methodological challenges of combining data on partnership histories from different sources.

We also welcome papers on new theoretical developments and on the determinants and consequences of relationship dissolutions from a sociological and interdisciplinary perspective.

Please submit an extended abstract (2-3 pages with max. 2000 words). The submission deadline is May 10, 2020. All submissions will be reviewed by a selection committee. Abstracts that are not accepted for oral presentation might be included in the poster session.
